With a refresh to their brand's look & feel, we were responsible for defining a new creative approach and aesthetic for all their 3D content. A ground up rebuild that included everything from treatments, through to handing over open files.
The asset categories were defined by their scale of use, with Hero, Mid, and Icon sets. The Heros involved more detailed scenes, allowing us a stage to present devices when necessary. The Mids simplified things slightly, allowing enough content to tell a slightly more complex message. Lastly, our Icons needed to be able to be consumed regardless of scale.
Although certain assets would be built for small scale placements, we needed to make sure that the micro detialing would allow the brand to use them as edge to edge visuals should they feel the need. That meant even the smallest elements needed a high level of tactility in their shader detailing. Second to that, we created some moving content for the team to make use of across their key messaging.
