With Wolf&Whale approaching us at the tail end of their re-brand work for Labaton Keller Sucharow, we were tasked with bringing their new guidelines to life. The end end result was a brand animation that could be used across their digital platforms, introducing the viewer to the client's new look and offering.
Style Frames
The fact that we were supplied such a clear indication of visual intent meant that our style frame process stayed within a clear set of parameters. Graphic, minimalistic, and always conscious of the updated brand tones. We removed all use of pattern, eventually introducing some subtle gradient and grain to create more of a cinematic undertone.
Motion
When it came to adding movement, everything revolved around maintaining fluidity and guiding the script. It can be easy to over-complicate an animation when the designs are so understated. But, if it didn’t aid the narrative, it didn’t make the final piece.
